The Falls at West Mall showcased the exquisite designs and collections of their tenants at Haute Holidays Fashion Event 2014, on September 20. Models wore outfits, accessories and shoes from the top fashion stores at West Mall.

The fashion event consisted of two separate fashion show consisting of 46 models. A release said each show was 45 minutes long and the shows were entertaining, colourful and professionally presented.

After having two successful Haute Fashion events in 2011 and 2012, the West Mall management team undertook the next step of a third in the trilogy of Haute Fashion Events—raising the “fashion bar” even higher this year.

According to the release, fashion is an important aspect of the Falls at West Mall brand, and is considered the fashion mall for T&T and the southern Caribbean.

Several rehearsals took place under the eye of Christopher Nathan, creative director of Coco Velvet International. This was to give the show an international appeal to match the array of international brands available at the Falls, West Mall.

The Haute Holidays project was managed by Alison Smith Dobson of Smith & Smith productions, with audio-visual supplied by Media 21 and music co-ordination by Ministry of Sound.

The fashion event was enjoyed by the enthusiastic crowd. The children stole the show with their charming smiles and savvy moves while showcasing some great children fashion wear.

The planning team expressed pride at showcasing the talent of two aspiring stars during the two shows, who were selected from the fans of The Falls at West Mall face book page.

Starlet Lewis and Leon de Coteau were the winners of the Facebook model search competition. They modelled in both shows and received vouchers from Ghost Armour, Beefeater, Dream Stones and Blaanix.
